teaching is learning

Is there something wrong? Or are we listening to what is loveless?

When we appear to be cruel, or appear to self-judge, we may believe we’re working in our best interests. If we are to look closer, we may see that we are believing, or identifying with, a thought in our minds that insists it is love. It is not. This thought in our minds that seems to be our ally in attempting to resolve the illusion there’s something wrong with us – is the illusion there’s something wrong with us. We are then not guilty of pleasing what is not there. Pleasing turns to extension under our sight, and we are left free as we were, as we are. We need not defend ourselves nor fear the stranger in our house.

“A neighbour, who mocks you in shadows and Chinese whispers, but feigns ignorance to your face, is no different to the neighbour whose happiness is false; whose self-love is bargained for in payment; that they must meet the despairing conditions set by their own oppressor.” -tgd.
